Tudor Pelagos Reliability

Hi Guys

New Pelagos only 2 months old and its making a funny noise when you wind it, also when you adjust the time.

Do any of you guys have them and noticed any issues with the reliability.

It would be great to know if any others have issues.

I need to find the local service centre here in Riyadh the Tudor web site is a joke for contact details.

Many thanks

Rob

I have owned my Pelagos since August and have not noticed your problem. Mine gained 8 seconds/day and was returned to my AD and it was adjusted.
As for a service center, a Rolex AD should be able to help. Or take it back to the place you bought it.

"A funny noise" is very subjective. My Pelagos does make a noise when winding by the crown, but I wouldn't say that it's "funny". Is it near-silent and butter-smooth like the winding on my Explorer II? No, but they are two completely different movements. My understanding is that the Pelagos uses a modified ETA 2824 and my Pelagos sounds very similar to other watches I have with the 2824. Now if it's grinding or making click noises when you adjust the time, first check to make sure you are pulling the crown out to position 2 fully. If it's still making noises, take it to your local Rolex/Tudor AD and have them check it out, preferably one with an on-site Rolex-certified watchmaker if at all possible.
