3185 in a GMTIIC?!

So, the 3186 in the 16710 is all the rage.

BUT... is the 3185 in a 116713 even rarer? I'm not sure if it's a misprint in the Antiquorum catalog for May's auction. http://www.antiquorum.com/eng/may_catalogue.html
But lot #371 shows a two-tone GMTIIC with a very early Z-serial that states it has a 3185 w. the Breguet hairspring (non-Parachrom Blu).

Misprint? I actually would think it's a misprint. Even if it wasn't and it has a 3185... don't think it would be all that collectible. I would think it would devalued the watch.

Just thought it was interesting. What you think?

I would tend to believe it is a misprint. Unless it was a mistake Rolex made and that is why it was selling there to begin with. This would be like a coin that is misprinted and is worth a fortune in the future. It is because of the rarity of the coin. That could explain how it made it to the auction as it is only a new watch and not worth that much except for the rarity of this occurrence.

Must be that Antiquorum just doesn't know watches... Lot #670 states a stainless steel GMTIIC 116710 Z-serial with a 3185 movement. Scary to think you depend on the auction house to know their product and authenticate the watches, and they have an error like this.
