So, I bought a LV Sub back in 2010. I have been mostly wearing it since then. I've occasionally worn a Seiko Monster and a couple of other less known brands, but always go back to the Sub.

I'd really like to buy another Rolex, but I haven't found one that I'd rather wear instead of the one I have.

What am I to do? Just keep waiting and hope that Basel will surprise me one of these years with something I like better?

There is a lot to be said for having just one you truly love. Lots of guys go through years of flipping and many, many, $$$$ to get that feeling. Many never do, and just keep on flipping.

I wouldn’t call your situation a dilemma at all. It is more like a blessing.
This is coming from someone that had a DJII blue dial/WG bezel and flipped it for a SUB LN and was still not happy. Flipped my SUB LN to SUB LV (all this flipping was done in less than a month). I can finally say now I am content (this shenanegan) cost me more less 2K in loss to get to where I want.
Will I ever let go of these two I have now? NEVER. They are my pride and joy and you know you love them when you even wear them at home on your couch all day and cannot stop staring at your watch(es)

I only have two. Not everyone is a collector of large quantities. Love the one you are with.

Be happy and hope that things don't change. Why waste a bunch of money on watches when you are content with what you have.

Don't sell the Lv just buy another rolex. Sell every watch you don't like and use that money to fund another rolex

Check out some different brands. AP, PP, JLC, or even Tudor. Maybe a Black Bay will get your motor running.

Let me also add Omega, IWC and Zenith. Sometimes, with less popular brands it takes a visit to an AD and trying some watches on to start appreciating those watches. For example, just by the photos I didn't really think the IWC Ingenieur 3239 (not my photo below) would be an exciting watch. But then, after trying it on, I became a fan instantly. Go and visit some ADs, check out other brands selection, try some watches on, and who knows, you may find a new love somewhere.

Good for you. My first Rolex was a Sub. then three years later I bought a TT DJ to have something different.
I never regretted that.

Congrats in finding the one. Now runaway! If the urge hits you in the future fir another or different Rolex, come back then. Most of us will still be here...

None of my other watches are high-end, the total I paid for all of them wouldn't be close to buying a Rolex, let alone what I could sell them for. I have the Seiko monster I mentioned, a G-shock, a Traser with tritium, a Vostok Amphibia, and a Victorinox. Nothing else high-end.

I've looked at many other watches, including in person. I've found that nothing sparkles like a Rolex, and that's what really draws me to them. One other watch I kind of liked was the Cartier Santos 100, but Cartier doesn't get much respect.

The only Rolex I like almost as much as the one I have is the Turn-o-Graph (116264) with a white dial.

Try an Omega Speedmaster. It would complement your Sub nicely, another iconic watch from a good solid brand.
