Do they still produce this TT Daytona?
Hi,
I have seen the 116523 TT with the white/gold dial, but I have seen in a dial PDF somewhere that they do the White/Black with arabic numbers. I have not seen this combo of TT with white/black arabic on the Rolex website and would like to know if this is no longer an option? Here is a pic I found but not sure if this still can be found a an AD? |

Still an active dial. AD can order it for you.
Available for references 116518, 116523, 116528. If you want TT on the bracelet, you're looking for 116523.

c.capt, thats a great piece of info for the dials, thank you kindly!
In your opinion, is the TT daytona a "less popular model"? I see many threads of people after the Stainless Steel white dial, but dont hear much about the TT models. I totally understand its personal choice, just curious realy as thinking of venturing into the Precious Metal watches and this Daytona and the Sub TT Blue dial are really standing out at the moment. Thanks again for the info. The hunt shall begin to see if I can see one in person. |

Glad to be of help!
TT is a very polarizing issue as can be seen by the numerous threads lately. I personally don't like TT (or YG/RG for that matter) because I think it doesn't look good on me and doesn't fit my style. I like the watches themselves and I think they look great, just not on me. And I'm not against PM Rolexes, if I felt like dropping $30K, I'd definitely buy a WG Rolex. As for a direct answer to your question, I would say yes the TT models are less popular than the SS models if only because of price point. Just as the PM models are less popular than the SS models. Good luck with your hunt and be sure to post some pics for us to drool over once you've made your choice!
