It was initially posted in the Rolex General Discussion. The member you quoted posted his comment before the topic was moved to the correct section.

For a group of geeks obsessed with the Submariner's "ultimate tool watch" status, this group seriously lacks a sense of humor. A watch is a watch and a hammer is a tool. Oh wait, the Leatherman watch just might be a tool watch. Perhaps not the "ultimate", but certainly the first "real" tool watch. Lighten up, please.

You put it in the wrong section... Think maybe you could lighten up, please? And I for one am not obsessed with any watch, certainly not a sub. As for the watch, it looks super cool in the pics. It's something that obviously needs to be seen and worn before any judgement could be made. I'd be interested to see if the "links" pinched skin and pulled hair under working conditions. Thanks for sharing |

cool, I've seen just the bracelet, but never seen it with the watch head.
Doesn't seem like it would be all that useful without being able to get too much torque on one of those screw drivers, but maybe I'd have to see how it would work in person before passing judgement. I could see a use for the bottle opener, but I think I could get one of those for my keychain easily enough if I wanted. |
