14060M Box contents
Hi guys,
My first post although I've been a member for a long time. Can anyone tell me what should be in the box that came with a 2009 model 14060M Sub. I just picked one up which contained the following in the box. Leather wallet Hard Plastic card with the watch details Service Mondial Booklet Larger Booklet marked "Your Rolex Oyster" Larger Booklet Marked "Rolex Submariner" Bezel Protector Small oblong plastic tag with "Oyster Swimpruf" and the serial number Red Swiss Chrono tag I expected to find a large Certificate of Guarantee similar to that of my 2004 Bi-Metal Sub. The watch has lain in it's box for the past 4 years, is there anything I should do before I use it. M Photo Last edited by mercman; 7 February 2015 at 08:05 PM.. Reason: Add photo |

The plastic card had replaced the certificate/paper by 2009.

Sounds like you got it all then.
And yes there is something you should do. Wind it up and wear it.

Sounds good...just give her a full manual wind...about 40 turns or so...and you should be good to go.

I would have it pressure tested. It's a sub after all. And you don't really know what happened to it in those 4 years.

Nice choice! Sounds to me like you got everything that goes with it. Only wish they still included the anchor with the divers' models...
