My new Grail

I always thought my Grail was a Paul Newman 6263, but after handling this watch today in my AD, that has changed! This has to be the most beautiful watch I've ever seen!

Agree or disagree????

It is indeed beautiful. I'm sure the sheer weight even heightens the pleasure of wearing it. However, I feel a comparison to the legendary PN Daytona may not be fair. In my eyes the new Pepsi is a contemporary grail and the Ref 6263 is a vintage grail. Congrats to you and enjoy!

She's still there, and will continue to be there until someone else buys it :(. Won't be in my range for a few years!

It's a pretty gorgeous watch, but not over a minty 6263 :)

Come on, Jeff!!! Seth also has a Smurf. Did you try it on? The WG GMT is an incredible watch, but I don't think I would pick it over the Smurf. Having the glidelock clasp on a watch with that much weight is a very nice feature. Maybe Rolex will make a platinum Sub one day. I can always dream!!!!

I agree with this, kind of apples and oranges IMO, however, both are delicious!!

Forgive me if I am asking a stupid question but why is it nearly 10 grand more than a white gold sub?

It's not. MSRP on the WG GMT is ~$38,275 and the Smurf is ~$37,895. I know I'm not exactly right on the numbers, but within about $200 on both.
