Rolex service question

Hi Everyone- My GMT (2001 model) has a scratch on the bezel - next to the 4 - I haven't had it serviced yet but am pondering having it completed - I keep hearing about how good a job an 'AD' does but will they charge for a new bezel or will this just be replaced free? many thanks.

Welcome to the Forum..

Some AD's can do a decent job of a full service, but most folks say the Rolex Service Centers do the best job.

Replacing a bezel insert can be part of the full service but they will charge you for a new one....~60 bucks.

Where is Dorset?
If its Vermont I know a guy whos does a better job and much faster then the NYC RCS(never again!) ,better quality, and faster.
If not try one of the others Dallas or BH but not NY.

Dont worry about a few scratches on the bezel, pluto. They give your GMT more character and more macho personality. If it's still dead accurate, wear it and enjoy it for a couple more years before you take it to RSC for a big service.

Thanks everyone - i'l wait a little longer before having the work done - yes Dorset UK - not sure about the accuracy; wasn't realy a requirement to be dead on - bought it for the looks.
