Rolex stolen in the UK

Hi to all readers, I am new to this so please excuse me. I had my love Rolex submariner stolen last weekend. Besides reporting the crime to the police what else should I be doing? It's a Rolex submariner T series from year 1996. I still have the box & paper work but unfortunately not the watch. I was searching around the internet & came across this forum. It would be good if someone could help me please.

Model: Submariner 16610 T series
Serial: T575***

Really good condition but has marks on it which will allow me to identify it.

Perhaps posting the complete serial could help. There's 999 other T575 Rolex's out there.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune.

Once the Police Report is finished, get a copy and report the theft to the Rolex Service Center nearest you. That way the serial number can be flagged in their system. If it is ever turned in for a repair or routine servicing they can help recover it.

There is perhaps a 1 in 1000 chance of that happening - for example, it the thief keeps it for himself, then zero chance. But if he pawns or fences it, then the ultimate new owner will be unaware. And the person who ends up buying it might use a Rolex RSC.

Rolex stolen in the UK

Check the local pawn shops as well. Alert them and give them a description and the serial number. They should call the police if it comes in. Even if the thief runs you still will get your watch back.

I feel your pain. Think positive and stay positive. It could pop back up on the radar. My stolen Daytona did. Give thanks that you were not hurt.

That is very bad news.
Hope you were not injured.
One supposes that these scum plan to fence anything valuable they get rather than keep it so there is always the outside possibility of it turning up in a nearby pawn shop.
I would probably check every one in a 50klm radius for a few weeks just in case luck is on your side. If you found it, talk with Police before you let on to the Pawn Shop.
Good luck.

Wow, that's horrible. I'm happy to hear you weren't injured in the mugging, so I guess there's the silver lining. I hope your Sub is recovered as well

I think we have a lead on who's stolen the Rolex, received a phone call today from a lady somewhere in Derbyshire & she explained how her husband got robbed too & she explained everything to me. We now have pictures of the suspects & also mobile numbers belonging to the suspects. Her husband advertised his Rolex on eBay & he became a victim of a mugging. Hoping this will get sorted soon & now that we have a lead it feels like there will be a good outcome :)

Got some more news about the watch today that a blonde woman tried selling the watch on to someone last week, he contacted me today & provided all addresses belonging to those who stole the submariner. Hoping that this will end soon & the watch will be returned if not then they get done for it
