Do you think this is a good deal?

Do you all think this is a good deal? I inquired about a Rolex from Craig Evan Small. The watch does not come with a box or warranty, and the serial number is not viewable. The salesperson said that on older gold watches, it is common to not see a serial number. What do you all think for $2,800, is it worth it?

Im sure there is a serial between the lugs at 6 oclock. Its 34mm right? Not bad for a solid fold watch.

It's a charming watch but they wear a little small. The Zephyr, which is the same size, wears a little larger because it's slimmer and sits closer to the wrist. Try a 6694 to get an idea of how it looks (they're more common for you to try on) size-wise. Price is fine.

Not a bad price but not good, spotted dial and worn serial detract from value. I'd wait to find a better example with a clean case and dial, they can be had quite regularly between 25 and 3500

So what do you all think about the lack of serial number?

Do you think we should push to get the price dropped? Thanks

Why wouldn't you? I'd imagine you could get it for 24-2500
