I´m still hunt for the perfect light>>>
I´m pretty close now I guess. The hard part is to get the hands looks good. It´s very easy
to get the polished parts overexposed. Jocke

That's a fine, brooding, monochrome image there, Jocke .

Coincidentally, I got similar results shooting my Explorer earlier today. With the right lighting, you can get some pretty surreal results...
Not trying to steal anyone's thunder, just thought it was a weird fluke. Fun stuff...

Another great shot, Pat. It's amazing, isn't it, that with the right light, such stunning pictures can be taken. Well done.

Speaking of lighting... I took this shot, handheld, using a bounce-flash. The angle was such that the WG surrounds reflected brightly while the white paint, not so much. The reflection of the crystal left the rest of the dial rather vague and underexposed. Overall, your pic has better balance with less contrast (your trademark). Great shot...

This was taken outside in natural light. The sunlight through the leaves gave me the highlights over the sub dials. Just happens sometimes.

Great shot Jocke.
I would like to see your setup that you use when you take this awesome pics. If you would, take a picture of the setup and post along with the pics. It would give other amateur photographers like me some new ideas!

Great idea! Jocke, as usual great pictures. Your pictures, in part, have reignited a dormant hobby of mine -- photography. I am waiting for my new Nikon D60 to arrive. A step up from my Nikon Coolpix point and shoot and a throw back to my old Minolta SLR fully manual 35 mm camera.
