certainly looking great - greater than the very orange like patina that frequently keeps popping up on socalled unpolished examples.

Beautiful! Patina is way underrated. People _ myself included _ pay a premium for a line or two of red text on the dial, but patina in all its variations is a much bigger factor to the actual look of a vintage watch on your wrist.

Mine has nice patina to it, the dial turned like a nice navy/dark blue from black and the outter part turned a nice light gray 8)

@Jaydizzle: Are you sure it has been a black dial. I'd bet it has been blue from the beginning.

This! The patina on that Sub is sublime for sure. Nice to see such a pure example of patina that matches the hands PERFECTLY. I could stare at that dial all day long.
