Rubber B vs Everest: Which for small wrists?
I'm on the market for a rubber strap, but I have relatively small wrists at 6" and am wondering if both these straps will be too long to fit properly. I'm interested in keeping my clasp, so the tang buckle is not in question.
Thanks for the help and all recommendations! |

My Rubber B ran a little smaller since they don't count half links when you order. I have big wrists so I needed the large size. I definitely have to open the glidelock up a bit when I put the rubber strap on. I go from two spaces on the bracelet to four or five with the rubber, depending on the day. I like it a lot though, definitely changes the look and feel of the watch.
I have no experience with Everest, and I have heard great things, but I personally do not like their clasp system all that much. Their leather straps look fantastic though. |

I'd take a look at Official Time out of HK; they also have very nice end links.

Do you have a link? Google came up with 100 misses.

I had Rubber B on my 14060M..found it too rigid and , in fact, too short. I'd try Isofrane or Hirsch Pure next time..don'y like the way everest puts normal links onto a rubber strap.

PS I have to say though that Rubber B fitted perfectly at the lugs.

I ordered end links from them, but not a strap, since I didn't want to use my own clasp. The end links are made of 904L steel, so it look a little more OEM. I liked the quality of them. Another member ordered some as well and was also a fan. |

trumpedaces, which model does your fiancee have -- is it the EH-2? The reason why I ask is because I've been wondering if the straps have stiffened at all since Everest moved to vulcanized rubber. |

I can say that the RubberB strap that uses a standard clasp, not the one that requires the Rolex clasp is a bit on the small side to me. I had to wear it on the last opening and I don't believe I have large wrists.
I spoke with Everest and ordered one of theirs. He assured me it is longer than the RubberB... Delivery expected at the end of the month. I'll post side by side pictures when it arrives. |

Rubber B was perfect for me. I also feel the RB looks a bit nicer than the Everest.

Friend of mine is into straps. He has had all of them and likes the Everest the most. He felt the RubberB to be too small and not as comfortable as the Everest. I will be trying the Everest soon as I also echo the same sentiments.
With that being said, the RubberB may work great for you. I have large wrist. |

Ah thanks. So basically a lot more nickel compared to 316. Cool.

The main thing about 904L is that it is a lot more corrosion resistant than 316, specifically against pitting corrosion and salt water corrosion according to the literature. |
