The 3717 is an awesome pilot's watch...and has probably the most comfy bracelet I have ever tried!

There are a couple of IWC watches on my radar (at the right price).

Up until a few years ago I was almost as big on IWC as I was on Rolex. The recent IWC collections are larger than I typically am interested in. I've got two IWC pilot watches, a classic black dial Mark XV and a 39mm silver dial Spitfire chrono (3717? - off the top of my head I don't recall the ref.#). I love them both, beautiful watches though not as 'rugged' as my Rolexes.
Nothing but from me for IWC pilots watches.

The Mark XV is indeed a rugged watch. Designed for clarity and legibility under demanding conditions, it was recently tested in Watch Time magazine along with a whole host of other pilot's style timepieces, by an aerobatics pilot who put the watches through a few moves.

Stability of rate before and after showed impressive results.

For me the Mark XV comes in a nice size.

High Class

IWC is.............IWC.

I think along the same lines as WelchWatchsmen............it's on my radar, looking for the right model, condition and price. As soon as all three are met, I will pounce.
