advise of Explorer 6610 -1956
Hello,
this is my first post in this great community. I being offered the an explorer 6610-1030 and frankly, as a newbie, I would like some advise on the authenticity of the watch and how much i should offer. Your kind help is greatly appreciated. |

Dial is wrong, a 6610 should have a Swiss only dial

The 6610 is one of THE most impossible dials to source in the wild. You may wait years to even see a dial at any price. The watch loses over half of it's value with a non original dial....that's not the best example of a case that I've ever seen either.

Is that an early service dial, Tommy, or just a refinished dial? Actually, looking at it again, I think it's probably refinished...
