What's the most iconic Panerai
Heh everyone. New to Panerai. Curious to know what the most iconic of the brand is. Something three handed. Don't want too many complications.
Thank for your opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The icon's are...
127 (3 hands) 372 (2 hands) 232 (2 hands) There are several other highly popular models that aren't icons however 233 (4 hands date pr) 382 (3 hands date bronze) 000 (2 hands) 111 (3 hands) - several varieties here like Ti, painted sandwich etc... Just do some general searching for Panerai image searches and find one that sings. Looking around is fun. One you get some more of what you like, ask again and we can tell you similar models you might have missed.

360. Because you love or hate it, or both.

I think the 112 is overlooked. 2 hands and clean dial. Also love the 111.

I agree, the 111 to me is iconic. Maybe it's a function of which watch you saw first?

372 for historic models, 000 or 005 for pre-vendome models. 111, 112 kind of combine the pre-V aesthetic with the sandwich dial.
Panerai has evolved so much during its history that it's hard to find one model that represents a particular look that Panerai held for a long time. Each decade since the 1930s kind of has a different model representative of the brand. Given that, however, the 372 probably has the most Panerai DNA in one model for whatever that's worth. |

That BBQ is beautiful. 44mm Luminors and 45mm Radiomirs are kind of my max size wise. I would love to get my hands on a piece like that to contrast with my 005. I'll have to settle for another DLC piece in the future it seems as picking up a 360 is next to impossible.

I'd say the 372. If not that, then the 000.

I like Mik's list, though not a fan of faux patina. For this reason, the 372 has a fault. Probably just me though.
