Day Date II Question

I have been researching the President for my first Rolex purchase. I'm torn between the WG and the Evergold.

Most of the WG ones that I am finding are "pre-owned" yet they are listed for more than the "new" Evergold one I have found locally. This particular one i have been watching for quite some time. It's been at least 4 years in this case. This jeweler has serviced a number of my other watches over the years.

From a value perspective, which model holds its worth more over time, the WG or Evergold?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Not much difference but maybe RG and YG DDs hold value better as generally more demand than WG for a DD as it's a dressier watch. Check out chrono24 for the market prices.

WG seems to be less popular, but if you want that stealthy look it's the only way to go. As Neil mentioned chrono24 is a great way to get ballpark pricing. Good luck

Out of those options I would get a chocolate RG DD2.

Well...if you're torn, you've got a new one selling for less than the pre-owned ones you've seen...that should help with the decision making process.
