Elysee - Brand prestige, are they any good?
Whilst visiting London, one of the jewelers I went into sold Elysee watches, I'd never heard of them before but they looked quite good. So when I got home I looked them up on the internet, a lot of their models look good but use Citizen Automatic movements...
Are these watches any good? For about £265, this would have to be my favourite from their site: https://elysee-watches.com/en/mens_w...utomatik_13281 Regards Last edited by MattPegler; 26 July 2015 at 05:09 PM.. Reason: added price |

There are quite a few gold plated watches available with these movements.
You just need to choose one you like.

I didn't much care for the design when I first looked at the watch, but the larger images looked really good and I especially like the bracelet. Lop a few mm off the diameter and I'd really like them. I prefer stainless.
Here's an assessment of the Miyota Cal 821a. http://www.justwatchme.net/eta-2824-...821a-movement/

Through that assessment, I could imagine that the Miyota is a respectable movement (I prefer a non hacking second hand anyway) Thank you for the comment. |
