Daytona Big Red

I have an opportunity to buy a 6263/0 Big Red (Black dial, black bezel) from 1982. One owner (bought new in 1982, no papers/box but all original parts except for a new crystal. Rolex serviced in June, 2015 with documentation and new 2 year warrenty. I know and trust the seller and believe that the piece is entirely genuine.

What's a fair price for this sort of piece?

Check market... There are two for sale on watch recon.com for $34k and another for $40k. However, those examples are asking prices and finding actual recent sale prices would be a better gauge.

My current grail. Mkt is between 35-45 with some even running into low 50's if really pristine and complete. LOVE IT!!!
