Which size Pan?? 6 3/4 in wrist
OK
I am getting ready to make the leap to my first Panerai. I just do not know what to do. I think my wrists are a little on the smaller side of things. My wrist is 6 3/4 in around. My biggest watch is an early 60's Breitling Navitimer (gen 2) which I tend to wear quite a bit. It looks a bit big but I still like it! What do you guys think (size wise) is too big for my smaller wrist? I know I am lucky as it could be even smaller. |

you should be fine with a 44. You can try both, I have a 7 wrist and 44 works fine for me.

a 40mm or 44mm Panerai will be fine on your wrist.
Not so much the 45mm or 47mm.

you'll be surprised how 44mm, 45mm and even 47mm will fit well into your 6 3/4. My suggestion: go to local AD and try several models.

Looks like I am in luck! My first one will be the Power Reserve so that will work. I will be getting married within the next 18 mths and my fiance has already made it clear she will buy me most any watch I want so I will get the 10 day GMT If I do get another after that it will be the Radiomir. Right now I am waiting on my Rolex Deep Sea, my AD said he will have mine in Aug (he is a very large dealer so he will get some of the early ones.) After that the Power Reserve search will start. |

Here's the deal - if you buy a 40mm, it won't be but two or three months until you are kicking yourself for not getting the 44mm. I bought the Pam 48, which is 40mm, and my AD told me, "You'll be back - everyone that buys that model comes back to buy a 44mm". I didn't believe him.
I should have. I'm dying to get a 44mm, just waiting to see which one I like the best. IMHO, just go for the 44mm. Believe me, it's what you'll want.

Well, Jeremy of Detroit...
You a Wings fan? If so, then go for the 44mm hockey puck.
All kidding aside, you'll be surprised that most times, the 44 just looks right. In the Radiomir, the 45mm will also likely work as well. Try 'em on, and you'll know. Here's my wife wearing a 44mm Panerai. Her daily watch is a 31mm Datejust, but this one looks great too...and on a wrist much smaller than yours. Welcome to the forums!

Also, the Radiomirs wear differently than the luminors. I have a 6.5" wrist and love the 45mm Rad's but the 44mm Luminors look too big for me.
Go to AD and try 'em on!!!!!

I like the Radiomars BUT I do not like them for my first Pan or daily wear.
I can be rough on a watch and they look more delicate (the crown) I want one but it wont be my first Pan |

44mm, 45mm, or even 47mm might go. I have a smaller wrist and wouldn't settle for anything less than a 44mm.

IMHO 44 is just right for Panerai. But try both sizes on if you can and get the one that smiles at ya.

Depends on more than wrist size alone
If your wrist is under 7 inches and the rest of your forearm is not much bigger, and you also have a small slender body build then go with a 40mm Panerai. IF your wrist is under 7 inches, but you have a larger build and your forearms are pretty big, then go with a 44mm.
IMHO, a big 44mm watch on a skinny guy's skinny wrist looks ridiculous and faddish (now if you are a hot looking chick, you can wear any size watch you want!) |

I have 7.5 in wrists. On a 5mm leather the following would work ... 85/135 80/140 85/140 The Panerai strap style suits a long tail.Rather go longer, than shorter on the tail part.On the buckle end,it has to be closer to have the buckle centred. |
