Would you trade?

So I would like to add a Daytona to my collection, and I have been thinking of trading off my Omega speed master "MAN ON THE MOON" as well as my Chronomatt 44 B01 as well as a little cash for a white face Daytona.

I know at the end of the day I am the one that will have to make the call but both of these have had limited wear since I purchased my sub and I think if I add the Daytona these will just sit in the safe even more.

Also trading these for the Daytona would free up cash for a AP RO purchase sooner

I would do that. You may miss the Moon Watch, but the trade would ease the deal.

I would not.

I have both a Speedmaster and a Daytona and feel they both have a place in my collection.

If you are not wearing it then trade it.

I would run, not walk to get the trade for that Daytona. Breitlings are a lost cause, none hold their resale value very well.

I sold a couple of Breitlings for Rolexes so would go for it.

I agree - this sounds like a smart trade - depending on the amount of cash you're throwing at them.

I don't have a deal pending yet, just looking at my collection and thinking about how to maximize my enjoyment.

To paraphrase Arnold in Predator. C'mon do it, do it now.

This keeps crossing my mind when I consider flipping the Speedy for a Daytona. They are indeed entirely different watches and would both have a place.

I would also do it. In fact I am going to add a Daytona soon, but I won't be selling my speedy, only because of sentimental value. Otherwise I don't think you will regret.
