Rolex 16613 serti vs 116613
So I said to myself for now on I don't go back....only newer style ceramic or new reference models. I go to my friend the watch dealer and he shows me a Z serial champaign dial serti Submariner in MINT condition!!!! For roughly the same price I can get a used 116613 with all the upgrades! What is one to do???? Go for the serti or go new style?

Another vote for the new 116613 with all the upgrades! Rolex did make this one with a diamond dial also. They discontinued them in the fall 2013, but you can find them for sale.

Rolex 16613 serti vs 116613
Serti dials are like Root Beers - I happen to like both but not to everyone's taste.
If I was making the choice then I'd be wearing the Serti- the 116613s are nice but not special. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New 116613 all day for me. I like that dial but like stated above, diamonds aren't man's best friend, but also depends on what you really love as well.

The Serti is def cool but would go with the new ref. I wore a tt Serti for years and it's an awesome watch. But now I'd go with the new one. Upgrades are worth it.

Main choice is the serti dial vs blue sunburst. I have a sunburst bluesy and it's a treat for the eyes!

I'd prefer a slate serti, so I vote for the 116613, easily.

Another vote here for the 116613. The fit and feel of this watch swings it for me.
While I like the serti dials, as Bill said the slate would be my choice, too. |

The new 116613 is a great watch. I'm also not a fan of diamonds on a gents watch.

Tough call, in a perfect world I would say both. I absolutely love that Serti dial and have owned several. If it is going to be only one, the new reference for the reasons already mentioned.

Got to be the new one. I love the Serti for special occasions though.
Tough one but new inhancements win. B |
