FYI - Have the Seller Verify Accuracy/Timekeeping
Purchased a nice condition Tudor Sub from a popular seller here and on other forums. Wore the watch for a few days before I realized that it was losing over a minute per day.
When I asked the seller about it (outside of the return window) he suggested I could pay for its servicing from his watch tech (plus shipping). Now I know that one should anticipate a used watch potentially needing a service, but for the price I paid, and the disappointment of having to turn around and send the watch out for an expensive service, I hoped for a bit of a better response. So, FYI - ask how it's running. Have the seller verify its timekeeping and accuracy. That way you at least get to enjoy it a bit before you send it out for a costly Dallas vacation. Cheers, Ben |
