On-line dealer

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with the on-line Rolex dealer Rolexcenter.net?

There is just one word to say.

S
C
A
M

1/2 prices Rolex watches, Western Union, Money Order, Cashier's Cheque.

I'll bet there are plenty who will have been shafted by this lot. Hopefully none here on TRF.

Just curious if anyone had purchased from them!

You don't purchase from them. You send them your money in the form of a money order, cashiers check, Western Union Money Gram, Bank Wire, etc. all forms of payment untraceable. It goes to a different bank and a different name all of the time.

You then never see your money again and you never see a watch from them. Do you wish to test out this theory? You will hit order on their form, a form will come up telling you where to send your money and to be sure to contact them once you've sent your money, you've just alerted them that they have roped in another sucker and they withdraw your funds, you will never hear from them again.

I have an active FBI Internet Crime Complaint against them. This is Russian Mafia at it's finest.

Duly noted, Terry! Thanks for the heads up. I figured as much! To your knowledge, is there a reputable internet dealer for Rolex watches? I'm looking for a Sea Dweller.

As a matter of fact there was a forum member that I would trust implicitly selling a Sea Dweller. Here is the link to the sale:

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=42772

There is also www.preownedrolex.com which is also another forum member. If he does not have one in stock I am sure he can get you one.

Good-luck in your search. I am also glad you decided not to go with the scam site.

The one link from the previously loved model is a "Z" series which is one year old. You may be interested in a gray market dealer which would include the following:

www.steindiamonds.com

www.swissluxury.com

They sell brand new watches cheaper than an authorized dealer. It may be more difficult to get a discount since this watch is being discontinued in the near future.

I would sure go for that then. Makes no sense not to since you get the two year warranty from Rolex anyway. It's better to go through an authorzed dealer anyway if it's a better price.

Post some pictures when you get the watch.

I've searched high and low and could not find a better deal than Reeds Jewelery at a local mall! Imagine that!!

You bet, I'll upload a pic after I get it. BTW, do you have any idea when the DeepSea will hit the market?

It looks like the new Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA will start hitting the shelves towards the end of this year. Unless there is a glitch.

I have heard about $9,700 US Dollars. That is a lot of money though the TT GMT IIc I have is over $10,000 now and the Daytona has been over 10K for several years due to the popularity and rarity of them. They seem to make it where the AD's are able to charge over MSRP due to the scarcity and desire for the watch. Hopefully that will not happen with this watch.
