Elle Macpherson started wearing a Daytona about 25 years ago

Maybe it's the WIS geek in me, but when I see a woman wearing a Daytona, it doesn't do much for me. But when I see a woman wearing Speedmaster Pro, then I think: "ok, that's hot".

Designed with men in mind but looks great on either sex. It's an icon and is inline with the size watches that are trendy for women currently (and men in my book).

I'd say gold suits Women most. While steel is for Men

I'd say every variation of the Daytona is a mans watch with exception to the 116505 with pink dial which I think is a very girly watch.. Seen Victoria Beckham sporting one a fair few times.

I notice when a woman drives a pickup truck more than I notice when a man drives a pickup truck. Therefore, using what I notice/my perception as a barometer, it must mean that mostly women drive pickup trucks.

The all gold Daytonas look esp great on women, and I've seen many celebs wear them. As for the steel the vast majority are bought by men.

I think it's because the bezels on the Sub and GMT looks more masculine and tool watch looking, the daytona looks more elegant and easier to go with fashion.

Thats why Michael Kors watches looks identical to Daytona.

My wife has asked to wear my Platona. I told her it wouldn't fit. I added that I might let her wear it to some dressy event we go to. In short, she wants my watch.

I consider it to be a man's watch but I did see a woman on the subway once sporting a panda dial. Looked very nice on her.

Hahaha "neither", I like that option.

But anything can be worn by anybody, I don't think anything is exclusive to being just male or female, especially watches.

Have you seen a man sporting a 36mm Rolex? ...I have, and although it's often thought as a ladies watch in modern times, it did suit him well

It's a watch, not a bikini. Watches are unisex,. General rule of thumb, wear it if it looks good.

The older Zenith el primero ones are more rugged looking with the brushed lugs and without girly petal shaped markers.. J/K! I wear a Yachty with polished lugs and I haven't started wearing lipstick and painting my nails.. yet.
I think what Rolex has done with certain models is very clever, in that they not just appeal to both sexes, they look great too.

If you like it,you can wear it. There is no yes or no. Watches are made to be worn by humans. I like a bigger watch on a woman, it always gets my interest!
