How does your AP sleep at night...?

I never liked to sleep with a watch on my wrist. Mostly for fear of banging it on the headboard, the bedside table, etc. And quite frankly, without my glasses I wouldn't be able to clearly read the time at night with the lume.

Normally I would just leave the watch I was wearing that day on my nightstand, and depending on the watch, sometimes on top of a microfiber cleaning cloth.

But for some reason I felt that I wanted something a little more, let's say special, for my AP. So, now I just put it on the nice AP travel case every night. Sounds silly, but it makes it feel a little more special to take it out of the case every morning and strap it to my wrist.

And of course, it also serves a real purpose, as it will protect the watch from accidentally being scratched against the wood, or sliding off by accident.

So, what do you do with yours at night?

Ditto. Although I used to put them in different positions on different days.

Whatever I'm wearing that day/night says on my wrist. Rest in safe.

It's a watch.

Rolex stays on wrist, AP or PP would go in nightstand drawer. Others in bank.

Same here, I always sleep with a time piece on the wrist.

Is potential scratches from laying your steel watch on a wood table keeping you up at night?

Great time piece none the less, wear it proud.

Well said! incidentally I have mine in the bedside cabinet but that's just a personal comfort thing. To many people baby their watches like it was their first born - it's a watch, it doesn't need a bed, fluffy pillow or comforter

it goes on the table

cant imagine wearing a watch in bed and then going to work the next day, shaking hands with people etc

then again I do have OCD, people who don't probably would not care if i did it to them

I have a few of those AP travel cases so the watches that are not in the bank vault go into those travel cases and get put in the house safe. I usually only have one or two at a time.
