Thoughts on 16710 insert

I'm not getting much traction in the main forum. Maybe the fake experts can help me out. Is "B" ok?

I have seen them fat font as you have pictured, which is not the best of pics. Taking into account the small 8's, a very unique feature with for the sapphire model.

But of course, I would ask where you are seeing the insert offered for sale... The reason for asking is because there are also some fakes out there that you could pick up on the Bay for less than $20..

I did a quick search on google and found this one:

Note the small "o" on the top of the eight.

Thanks you TTG!!!!

What did you search on for the font for the 16710? So, this might be a fat lady (16760) bezel on a 16710. Interesting.

Thank you.

..or a 16700. You are looking at a sapphire insert, thus any of those would fit. But the likelihood of the fatter insert would suggest another model (earlier - 16700 or 16760)...

Yes, it is unlikely this was on a 16710, which are known to have a skinnier font.

Just a quick clarification, the 16760 - Fat Lady - was only available with the Coke insert. But the other available colors from the sapphire models will fit as well.

Rolex can change the inserts directly & the cost is very reasonable - Around £35 in the UK
