advice needed for friend
A close friend wants to buy his wife a SS woman's datejust, retails for about
5k. I have only purchased from AD's in the past but he has a jewerely guy here in NYC who claims he can get the watch for 4k. (he bought his wife's engagement ring from the guy) I am very skeptical and advised him that he should only buy from this person if he can get the watch authenticated. Is there a place in NYC that will open the watch and verify that its a rolex. thanks for your help. |

He should take it to NYC RSC for authentication.

You could try Wempe in NY. I am sure they'd be happy to authenticate the watch for you.
