First Rolex - GMT master II
Hi everyone.
I'm new to posting on the forum but spend many an evening here browsing, reading and drooling before deciding it was time to get one into my life. I wanted something I could wear every day for work (office based) and the 'Pepsi' dial GMT Master II seemed a great everyday option, very cool looking but not too flashy/dressy. I am absolutely made up with it, one of my best purchases ever. I'm a guitarist and have a number of guitars, many vintage, a birth year one etc and can now see how people end up collecting watches. I'm already browsing the vintage section, but I have much to learn. Look forward to seeing you round the forum. :) |

I was in the same boat as you back in 1999. I told myself, I should reward myself for all my hard work. It was time to buy a Rollie...bought myself a Coke GMT-II that I still own and enjoy until today!! Great choice!

Thanks everyone. Maybe the warmest welcome of any forum ever.
Cool picture with the bass. So much overlap between love of fine instruments and watches. This has opened my eyes. I will definitely check out the Mayer reviews. Thanks again for the warm words. Feels good. :) |
