Took the 16610 on a little trip!
Bucket list item is checked off! Some of you know I'm a pilot(not for a living anymore) and love to fly whenever I get the chance.
A buddy of mine, also a pilot owns a few planes and he is very generous about taking me along, especially in IM C (instrument) conditions or when he wants to work on approaches and holds.
We usually fly his twin engine Piper Aztec and have a blast! This last Sunday we did something a bit different in one of his other aircraft.

This twin engine jet is a Casa. It was a fighter jet made in Spain and used in the Spanish and Egyptian Air Forces in the late 1970's-early 1980's!
We had a great flight! Did a bunch of aileron rolls, high G turns, and a couple of loops. Our max was a 5G turn and I felt myself "browning out" a few times , not totally blacking out though. That happens because all the blood in your head rushes down to your lower parts . It was GREAT!
So, as the saying goes here,"pics or it didn't happen so here I am! I'll only post a few but I have tons more if anyone's interested.

Also, to answer the question , "is my Rolex safe to wear at 5+ G's???? Your damn right it is!!!!!!

Never flew one of the CASA but a lot of hours in the Fouga CM.170 Magister

Always nice flying these older birds !

I was waiting for someone to say "GMT" and you didn't disappoint, Gerardo! I think the BLNR in the gieawy should suffice ! It's about the only way I'll be able to get one anytime soon. Keeping my fingers crossed!

FYI : the Fouga is about 120 gal per hour . . . . for an older jet not that bad
Actually the original design was a glider !

Yeah, Marc. That's pretty close to the Casa. We burned about 125 gallons in 1.1 hrs and damn near used up all the O2. I was probably hogging most of it!
