I'm Cuckoo for Cocoa Flakes
Just in Needs some TLC (and the correct T125 crystal - it has a 1680 T127)

Haha - dial is actually nice wityh a little bit of early Flake ripple, all the "Choppy Water" on the dial and hands is actually just how bad the crustal is worn and the lines that have not yet come out (even after a wetsand and polywatch).

I'd just put a new crystal on it. Acrylic crystals are consumables, I don't think it would take anything away from a beautiful vintage piece.

Looks very nice! Please post pictures when you mount the new plexy. I suspect that this case has lots of bevels to show.

Yes, crystal is very consumable, and this one - wrong for this model - is beyond salvage
Yes, bevels are very good - case is reasonably dinged Harry, early 9411/0

Nice! Great looking piece.
Mine has a 127 on it too. I have a 125 for it but haven't taken it apart yet... |

What are your plans for it, might I recommend considering a superdome and just foregoing the cyclops? I've seen it done with 1680s and they look sharp!

Yes, original owner reportedly was flying a Helo in the GoMex, lost a tailrotor and went in - surviving. I have no way to corroborate this though.
