Oyster Perpetual 114300 Rhodium Dial
Simple, elegant, stunning dials. When Rolex announced the 114300s I was hooked.
Oyster in perfection. Gorgeous, not flashy, just beautiful. I purchased this watch from a fellow TRF member and I couldn’t be happier. Initially I was a bit worried about the size, 39mm seems a lot for an Oyster, but it wears just fine. The bracelet is a piece of art, no news there, and the watch appears almost modest and humble. I think it works both as a daily watch and as a dress watch. I love it. |

Picked up mine on Thursday. Absolutely in love with the dial, no nonsense rolex.
Congrats on yours! It's heavy as heck isn't it?

Nice watch, 39mm is a great size. Is this the same case as the Explorer? The dials give it bit more flair, tho...

You won't be disappointed. I'm glad to see a competitor to the Omega Aqua Terra, which I used to think was the perfect watch.
It's a great all-rounder and that dial....

When it first came out I loved it but then as I kept seeing more pictures of it I wasn't thrilled about the mixing of the stick markers with lume markers. Anyone else feel the same about this?

Makes it a lot easier to orient the watch in the dark though.

Yes, good point. They also blend a lot better in daily wear than pictures can convey. The little red pips on my Grape 39 maybe look jarring in pictures, but really make sense in real life. These are all clean, elegant dials with a bit of dash. |
