Best Rolex of 1987?
Morning,
Caught the Rolex bug and can't stop thinking about which watch to buy next. Well it's my birthday today and have made the decision that next one I buy will be from by birth year. I've love to see everyones opinion on the best watches made/released in 1987. Thanks in advance! |

Hard to beat a 16750. Or i'd go day-date 18038.

Happy Birthday, man! To be 28 again....
That said, this is one of the few times I'm grateful to be born before the white gold surrounds period! That said, I would hunt down one of these: http://www.hqmilton.com/watches/1987...atejust-160131 |

Wasn't the 168000 around in 1987? That's a rare piece available quite inexpensively.

That's also my birth year. I'm excited to see what people say as I think I should own a watch from my birth year

1987 is also my birth year and I would love to eventually add a birth year piece to the stable. My top picks would be:
6263 16618 16550 (cream) 16750 5513 |

Born 1971 I have both the 5513 and 1675...while I do love my Sub, if I could only have one between them, the 1675 has more personality and functionality, even with the non-quickset date I had to advance ten days this morning. Happy Birthday and best of luck in your choice.
