Icon4 About Audemars piguet service

Hello guys, Interested to know if anybody had to change their middle case in ROO before, does AP keeps the older serial number engraved on the case back OR do they change the serial by changing the case back too.

Also how did they aligned the chronograph pushers with crown on the newer 42 mm although the case is almost the same as older except the crown guards maybe.

Thanks alot

I mean if someone has to change the middle case of the watch due to dent or deep scratch for example. Do you change the case and case back due to serial number engraved back or just the middle case and keep the original serial no. Located on the case back, unlike rolex you have to replace the the case with new one with service serial no.
The other question is regarding the alignment of the chronograph pushers and crown on the newer 42 mm (safari, navy, grey theme) all the same level, while the older version (safari, black theme and panda didn't align. How come if they fitted with the same movement and almost case dimension.
