Questions about sub LV on EBAY

Check out item #280244351571.

This item is apparently 15 miles from me. Lots of red flags here, so I sent him an email asking if I could do a cash transaction in person. What do you think the response will be?

I think it is worth a shot to ask about a face-to-face transaction at an authorized dealer. The watch looks real but the feedback is non-existent and the papers are not visible enough to make a determination. I would proceed cautiously.

Here was his reply to my offer of a cash transaction:

"Sorry, I don't do that. I'm only taking payment for the item through PayPal. Thanks anyways."

Classic. What should we do about auctions like this?

It is no longer listed. In the future just report the scam to E-Bay or post it here so that any of us can look it over and determine it's validity.

I reported it. The date magnification looks wrong, the bezel is turned to avoid lining up issues. He has 0 feedback, will not meet someone who lives 15 miles away for a comfort level transaction.

This guy does seem like he has fake fingernails glued on. My wife used to get those acrylic nails years ago. WOW. I could be wrong about the watch but it had so many issues the other day that reeked scam.

This Particular watch....looks Genuine....HOWEVER...

....the first time it was listed, there was one pic and I think one line of info.

....NOW, there are multiple pic's to view....and the band looks genuine also.

....where this gets SUSPECT as a SCAM, is the fact that a TRF mbr, who lives only 15 miles from the seller, that's right, 15 miles from the seller, will NOT meet for a face to face viewing of the watch.

....the pic's could have been pirated from another listing or web site like TZ or VRF etc, etc, etc.

WHY IN THE WORLD would you even CONSIDER to take a CHANCE on this watch?????????

....SCAM....SCAM....SCAM....SCAM....SCAM....SCAM!: thumbsdow
