Is the 44 FC (26400AU) discontinued?
Screen capture from AP's site .. note the "Availability to be Confirmed" legend towards the bottom.
Anybody has any info? Thanks!

I am hearing it is indeed no longer being produced.
My favorite AP, short of the RG version.

Sad news indeed. Glad I have my FC diver although I really like the 44mm FC as well.

I am pretty sure one will always be available on the secondary market (subtle enabling)

Who knows how that's going to go ... I don't think it will shoot through the roof ... If I had to venture a guess, I'd say it'll follow the normal secondary market cycle, similar to the FC Diver, Bee, etc.
Time will tell.

That would be cool. In any case, I am not planning on selling mine anytime soon.

Seems that diver and 44mm ROO ceramic are all stop or going to stop. So no more ceramic from AP. Only left with ceramic basel for 44mms.

Stopping production of FC in the "cheaper" models really sucks. Outside of the secondary market you'll be limited to FC watches that cost north of $100k like the Schumacher lap timer, tourbillion chrono and carbon concept.
The good news is my FC diver is on its way back from APSC right now with under a 3 week turnaround time. Can't beat Clearwater service! |
