Was not too serious about buying another watch, but I was presented with what I thought was a great oportunity. I had sold my sub, thinking that I would not buy a sport watch again, but the sd4k really surprised me in my wrist. it is a better watch than the sub from the tech side. In addition I really like the flat glass.

But it does not look like this watch is that popular. For the discount I got, it was a no brainer. maybe at least price I would not consider it, but I think I've found the missing link.

Congrats.

I got mine on the day of release and at that point I also had a number of other nice watches, including a GMT2 and a Ltd Edition Bremont. Three months on the GMT and the Bremont, along with three others were sold because they simply weren't getting any wrist time.

If I could only have one watch for the rest of my time, it would be the SD4K, I think they nailed it.

Interestingly, whilst I was frequently in meetings with others wearing a GMT2, and likewise when I had a Sub, I have never seen another SD (I had the 16600 at one point as well) in the wild. The best bit is when people comment on my 'Sub' and I'm able to go into full geek mode and explain the ten differences (at least the ten I know of!).

Would love to see more pics congrats. It's not as popular but that's also what makes it cool. I love the sd4k! Could be my next piece too ;)

I love mine, the SD4000 is a fantastic watch.
I find that I don't see them that commonly worn by others and I like that too.

It's a great watch! I think people on the forums really love and appreciate it. It certainly is less common in the wild. Congrats!

Congrat's on your Acquisition! The 116600 is a Great piece and worty of collector Status. It's actually called the SD4K, you transposed the 4 and k in your title, but hey what's a few letter's between friends...

Don't forget to post in the, "Sd 116600 Owner's Club" that Token74 Created...

I felt that this watch is a keeper and should never be let go...
