Solid End Link (SEL) Advantages?

Can someone help me understand the advantages of an SEL bracelet (e.g. 78790A) versus a non-SEL (e.g. 78790)? Can you feel the difference?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

Better fit, more durable, higher resale, and newer.

On SEL, the center link is raised, whereas on non-SEL, the entire end link is flush...if that makes sense.
