Value of old worn band?

Hi,

We had a customer buy a new band from us and he wants to sell his old band. What would this bring??

Looks worn out and in need of some RSC care. Right now, it has not much value.

Probably take it.
Looks very stretched out.
don't know how much gold you'll get out by taking all 18K parts and melt them!

It appears that most of the value has been worn out of it.

If you have offers of a couple hundred take it.
That bracelet looks ROUGH!

I think it is so fundamentally worn, that Rolex would insist that it be replaced if it was sent on a watch for repair to them.
Accordingly, I do not put any value i.e. I wouldn't pay anything at all for this bracelet. One would not risk a $7,000 watch on a bracelet that may be liable to failure at anytime and in the condition so presented.

P.S. as this is really a buy-sell topic, I am moving it into the WatchOut!!! section to put it in it's proper category.

SCRAP gold price....

..ONLY. The gold for scrap....the buckle is useless with the large crack in it.

only a person in dire need would or should even think of looking at this watch band, needs to be melted down for gold content imho. My thoughts on a price would be 100.00 - 150.00 for gold content, anything more and you would be taking the buyer for a ride, again just my opinion.

Thanks guys. I was getting so many offers and interest emails in it that I thought I had some secret "gem" in my hands. I'll just let it go for the most someone wants to pay for it and call it a day.

Thanks everyone.

PS. And yes, I wouldn't trust it on a watch at all!!
