"Red Sub" - Certified Authentic?

Received a retargeting ad from Crown & Caliber with an image of a red sub (red bezel and dial). They're claiming it's certified authentic. I've never seen one, is this legit? If so, what's the story behind it?

It's an aftermarket dial.

I think their wording is a little deceiving. I think it is authentic "Crown and Caliber" aftermarket parts.

Yup, they've disclosed an aftermarket dial on the site. I think forgot to say it's an aftermarket bezel too?

They're a decent outfit to work with. I've purchased a couple of Omegas from them over the past 18 months. I would have bought from the exclusively if they didn't jack up the prices on some pieces to ridiculous levels.

"Certified Authentic" - with aftermarket parts..

Reminds me of another well known on-line sales outfit that made such claims and finally lost their entire business in court.

C&C has a nice selection but I think their prices are borderline ridiculous

I think a red sub could look cool if it was done right, a la The Hulk. That attempt is pretty weak and looks awful, IMO

Not my cup of tea but some must like it, most probably the same that would buy if the bracelet screws were multicoloured skybluepink.

I don't love it, but I don't think it looks bad.

The brightness does strain the eyes, though.

VERY Deceptive. C&C does a TON of marketing and I'm sure they appeal to people who may not have as much knowledge as us forum members. If I were a lamen, I would have NO idea that this watch is aftermarket. Some poor guy is going to buy that and think he has a unique authentic Rolex...

not what i would expect to see if i bought a red sub ,,
i hate to think of the depreciation on that thing though ,,, i think if you bought it you really would have to love it , as you may just be its last owner.

That was not what I expected to see when I saw "Red Sub" in the topic title!
