Notebook gone south
My notebook took a spill yesterday!
It is 2 1/2 years old Dell 11" screen. Will need a new 1o-12 " notebook No gaming, some tunes, no engineering programs. Primarily college type requirements. Approx $1000 expenditure preferred. Your suggestions here...... |

Macbook. $1000 on newegg or the education discount on apple. RAM upgrade is cheap and you can easily dual boot Windows if you have to.

X2, I bought a 17" Macbook Pro a few months ago and swore-off anything PC forever. The new Macbooks are a great value, especially if one needs reliability, functionality and productivity. I regret not going Apple a long time ago...
