Seller is asking $11K for it. Comes with black AP leather case. Seller has original box but needs to find and said he will give to me. No papers. F Series. Watch was serviced by sellers watch technician who he states is AP certified. Seller is from a local watch store here in CA and advises he'll provide me with a 1 year warranty. Should I have concerns?

For $2500 more you can get a brand new one with full warranty and papers.

I will ask my two friends who are grey dealers. I'll get back to you.

15300 is discontinued and finding a BNIB will be hard. However I'd wait for a complete set for that much.

That's a good price with box, papers. Maybe knock off a bit more if you can. Often going for $12-13 now.

Precisely.

You won't be finding any old stock 15300s let alone for 11k. Find one without questions. Full set and never touched by anyone but AP themselves for service.

I would go for a new 15400 over a preowned 15300 if the price were about the same. It's no contest with the complete set and factory warranty.

The 15400 white is a bit more dynamic, and while the sporty 41 mm seems big now, it will be in the norm in a few years. I would guess the 39 mm will be reserved for the more dressy 15202.

Great watch and the price is good for 15300, but you could try to push the seller down a little bit....maybe even try the 15400 again to be sure it's too large and for a couple-grand more you're in a new watch.

Went through a similar debate recently with buying a new 15400 blue or used 15400 blue and went with the used since it was still stickered/under warranty.

Good luck on deciding and post pics when you BUY IT!!
