Icon4 My stolen watch

I just moved to a new home and my watch was stolen at my bedroom but I can't prove who the person was since we had lots of movers and deliverers came to our house. I have my original receipt, box and the serial number of the watch registered in my name and it was a Christmas gift from my husband. I wonder if there is a registry where a watch can be traced. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to you all Omega owners!

If it's a Rolex you can notify Rolex with the serial number and if it goes in for service they will seize it for you. Provide the serial number to the police when you do the report so if say it show up at a pwn shop they will be notify.
If it's an Omega I'm not sure if they have the same system as Rolex. Hope you get your watch back.

I was just at the Omega Boutique at Fashion Square, great people in there, wouldn't hurt to call them and see if they can flag the serial # in case it's ever sent in for service.

Yeah...x2. And make sure there's a police report.

And you may want to contact the moving/delivery places you've used and alert them to what's happened. You never know when someone stupid enough to do this flashes it around to his friends, or runs his mouth, etc.

I think one thing you may want to consider if you don't find out who did this is the unfortunate possibility of a repeat occurrence...if the slime ball thinks you have 1 nice watch, there may be more...

Sorry for your loss.
