Nice, probably my next pic up. Been looking for a 1803 YG head to wear with straps for a vintage "dress" watch. Love the white dial on this. Not sure I have seen another.

I have always been interested in those watches but have never been clear on how you can actually set a day-date without quickset for the day of month and day of week. How do you change the day of the week... Does it change as you change the day of the month or is it separate... I only wear my 1675 3 or 4 times a month and a lot of times I just won't have time to set the non-quickset date and will just grab something else.

My 1803 white gold with Matt black dial. The president bracelet works well with day date despite only 36mm.

With the caliber 1555/1556 in these beasts, there is a semi-quick-set date set function, in contrast to the 1565/1575 calibers with date only. One advances the time to reach the correct day of the week (at least the max would be only six 24-hour periods), then one toggles between midnight and 6 PM to advance the date, similar to modern Nomos watches (albeit it's between midnight and 9 PM in those). It's a bit easier than you would think!

Nice that makes it seem not too much worse than your usual non-quickset.

It's actually quite easy once you get the hang of it.
