The finishing on an AP is really spectacular, IMHO quite a bit better than Rolex and even Vacheron. Just stunning and elegant

For me it was a choice between the 15400 blue dial and the 26320 blue dial. I hunted all around HK last Sunday and found that only the AP official boutique store carried both. But they weren't going to give out any discounts on this version.

After some hunting and asking around I found one store that carried the 26320. They offered me 10% off and I said I would consider it. I had to leave town for a work trip so I put down a small deposit for it.

I went there today with a white envelope full of cash, and after a friendly chat with the manager and some sweet talk I managed to get an 18% discount. So all in all a good experience, and from my point of view a pretty damn good deal!

I paid $156000 HKD which comes to $20K USD. All in all the process was enthralling, I couldn't stop thinking about this watch for days before purchase. And now that I have it, I could not be happier.
