I was never a one watch guy until......

This watch has ruined me and my other watches are now dust magnets! Full disclosure- I had a 116520 black dial and couldn't flip it soon enough. It was small on my wrist, couldn't read the dial, etc. When I saw the Basel pics I thought, Wow!! That white is sweet!! I got mine about a month ago and it's been love ever since. I could truly own this one and no other. So I FINALLY get all the Daytona hype.

Good to hear. How does it wear compared to the 116520?

Honestly, the look is night and day. Same comfortable fit obviously BUT it wears quite a bit larger. It feels like a true 40mm. The 116520 looked like a 38 mm on me.

My poor attempt at humor

One of your early wrist shots was my iPhone lock screen saver for nearly a month.

I was a speedy fan (still am) and never understood the Daytonas... I can honestly say after the 116520s and waiting for the 116500 I get it now. Beautiful pieces. Congrats again and we'll always remember you were first on trf op.

I'm LMAO ALEX!!! Yes that caught some serious attention. I went in the following day back to the store I bought it at, and they told me the phones rang off the hook with people calling about the watch. They weren't really thrilled! I think it got like 20k views in 12 hours. It's been fun, butI can truly say I love it more each day.
