Is my Wolf watchwinder broken?

I bought a Wolf Heritage watchwinder a few weeks ago. Everything worked smoothly in the beginning.

Lately I noticed one of the winders started working erratically. It would turn until it reached a certain placement, and then it would shake and "jump" as if trying to get over a track that it got stuck in.

Is this normal (easily self-fixable) or should I get a replacement (bought from Amazon in less than 30 days)?

Doesn't sound good, but Wolf has excellent customer service and I'm sure that they will make this right for you.
