The movement looks awesome on it and love the size of the watch. I had recently got a 643 so I didn't try it on, but it would be a great daily wearer most likely.

nice movement, i like the tuxedo dial and i prefer the PR indicator to the "automatic" text of the 657.
not sold on the heavy use of ecru lume, but, if you like that, i'm sure this would be a great daily wear watch. i'm pretty indifferent to spring bars vs. screws. |

I've always love the crown protector of the Panerai's,
but the 1940 style and the hobnail face of this is really really nice. I might have to look into getting a 658. Does anyone know if this exact watch comes in a ceramic case? |

^ nice group shot.
for me, the tuxedo dial looks better on a busier dial like these with the hobnail looking better on a very simple dial (like the 643 ). so, i'll take the 658. nice balance on the dial with the small seconds/GMT & 3 lines of text & date window & PR indicator, along with the 6/9/12. |

I'm waiting for when they put this in a Radiomir case (not 1940). I would it if they would do non-ecru with silver hands.
