I finally joined the family...
After many years of being somewhat interested in Panerai, I finally decided to get one after seeing one up close when I saw my long lost friend while on holiday in London a couple of weeks ago. He was wearing a 372. I tried it on and liked it a lot but unfortunately I thought it was too big for my 6.75" wrist. I searched for something similar and found the 560. Simple yet stunningly gorgeous. I bought it last night from a local AD at a fantastic discount and wore it to a wine tasting tour in Napa today. Here are some pics.

How did you settle on the 560? It has been a long process for me whittling down what I want to be my first grown up watch Purchase to be. I'm just curious how another made their decision.

Thanks a lot guys. I'm really enjoying this watch I already set up a strap fund. I'm currently into tan or dark brown leather, any suggestions?

Congrats! Beautiful PANERAI. I prefer OEM for my one and only PANERAI(233), but do have a couple of others from Micah and the Strapsmith. How you thought bout distressed OEM calf?

I assume you're referring to the calf assolutamente. Yeah that style caught my eye when I tried on some models that came with it. Definitely in my list of must-haves.
