What a difference one years makes!

Last year I took the first pic because my wife's doctor predicted she would be doing a great impression of JJ by loosing her hair, a result from the first round of chemo.
So, 12 months, 4 rounds of chemo, 30 radiation treatments, 4 operations, one blood clot, and 2 wigs later, here we are.
We feel a hell of a lot older but that sure beats the alternative.
All of your kind thoughts and prayers, both public and private, made a world of difference to us. WE'RE BACK, BABY!!!!!!
So THANK YOU!!!!

Thanks, Martin. That was the past, we're only looking forward and every once and a while stopping to enjoy the "moment".

Actually that just happened at Cleveland's airport. I was thrilled and told the bartender I was older than her parents. Then found out they asked EVERYBODY!

Congratulations Dan. It's amazing how these health issues can bring a couple closer together. Your wife looks great and I am happy for the both of you that this scare has subsided.

My wife was an awesome nurse when I was in Germany having my spine repaired from a dog/bike collision. She didn't know, neither did I, if I would ever walk normally again. These times are sure tough and challenging.

Hang in there, the both of you.

Thanks again, everybody!!! Hard to believe with all that was going on we still traveled to South Beach in Miami and spent Easter in NYC.
Plus, for work, I traveled to over 30 US cities ay least once, not to mention Japan and Guam. No wonder I have gray hair.

Thanks Dan but it really brought tears to my eyes because Anne went through a similar ordeal and she too made it! It now is 4 years since her last radiation treatment and I'm so happy she's still with me

Modern medicine is incredible, but I'm more in awe of the simple power of faith, belief and choosing happiness in the face of a challenge. You two are a perfect example of living that. You certainly are blessed.

On a side note, I wish I could keep a white t-shirt looking that good after a year.

Great news Dan. Now I hate to pi$$ on the fire but I must be honest. Your wife looks five years younger and you do look one year older.. You both look great. Can I borrow some hair and I will gladly take the grey.
